Hyflux at SIWW 2014
Once again as the founding sponsor of Singapore International Water Week (SIWW), Hyflux reinforced its presence in the 6th edition of SIWW 2014 with a 96 square metre booth space designed with sweeping waves in shades of sea blue and a tower of lush green, underscoring the corporate theme of sustainability and incorporated recyclable materials to reduce environmental footprint.
SIWW 2014 was held in conjunction with the World Cities Summit and CleanEnviro Summit from 1 to 5 June at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands. At a joint opening ceremony on 1 June 2014, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong launched the three events that shared the common theme on how to develop liveable and sustainable cities, and build endearing and enduring homes.
The open-concept booth showcased Hyflux’s landmark projects with several 3D models of proprietary membrane products and a visual tour of Hyflux’s product value chain. A new product that attracted significant interest was the Floating Desalination Production Vessel, a mobile desalination unit designed to meet urgent requirements for clean water supply.
