Hyflux has established a strong presence in China since its entry into the market in early 1990s. We have been active in China for the past 12 years, in the areas of industrial water treatment, wastewater treatment, desalination and other membrane applications.
The significance of the Chinese market for Hyflux is evident from its coverage of the market in more than 26 of China’s 31 provinces in projects both big and small. We serve more than 500 clients in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, food, electronics, chemical and petro-chemical, industries and continue to experience robust growth in China's industrial sector. In 2004, Hyflux entered the China's municipal water market and have since clinched a number of projects that span across seawater desalination, water purification as well as wastewater treatment and recycling. Our membrane technology provides proven environmentally-friendly solutions to China's growing water infrastructure investments. Going forward, Hyflux will also tap onto the used oil recycling market in China. |
